I feel like I’ve been swept up in a tornado this summer. Usually summer brings about my alter-ego: Summer Jayne.
I love Summer Jayne.
She’s relaxed.
She laughs a lot.
She easily rolls with the punches.
In fact she’s so laid back, she never even feels a punch.
And she spends a lot of time at the pool (let’s be honest, the snack shack is where I spend most of my time: hello soft preztel!)
But this summer, Summer Jayne has not come out to play as much. Really, she usually sticks around the whole summer. Well, at least once I start sleeping in. Ikes! This also means I only have 25 more days to sleep in.
25 more days for Summer Jayne!
You know, I’m not even sure where I’m going with all this.
Oy, the tornado I’m in. Which is why my updates have been lacking and that Summer Jayne has rarely been seen.
However, there is one event that I have promised myself I would not let slip through the cracks. The gallery I have up at Vecinos in Downtown Muncie will be around until the end of July. This is my third gallery I’ve participated in, but the first I’ve remembered to make a blog-worthy documentation of. Who knows maybe Summer Jayne got a recharge this weekend. I’m on a roll!
And here’s a little bit of what you’ll see when you walk into Vecinos.
Don’t forget to grab yourself a drink while you’re there too.

Maybe this fall will start a new alter-ego: Fall Jayne (my alter-egos are very original with their names). I bet she’ll give Summer Jayne a run for her money. I can only hope.
