The ro.fam embarked on a new home improvement adventure (this is nothing new). One that should have happened when we moved in 7 years ago, but the thought of my then toddler spilling juice and crumbs all over freshly laid carpet made me be content with the matted down, dog-filled carpet from the previous owners....
